Student Activities Mission
The Student Activities Program at Frostburg State University creates a co-curricular environment that compliments the academic experience through the development of student leadership skills and direct involvement in social, cultural, recreational and governance programs.
Greek Life at Frostburg State University fosters an environment that promotes a healthy and safe undergraduate experience through diversity and student growth. Greek Life promotes education and advancement of the Greek Life system, leadership, community service, scholarship, and encourages lifelong connections respective to each organizations Creed, processes, and principles.
The Office of Student Activities is a component of the Department of Student Community and Involvement serving the university community.
The Department of Student & Community Involvement recognizes the Lane University Center’s Technical Services for the development and implementation of their Spring training program. Technical Services was recently centralized to aid other organizations with sound, lighting and room setups in the Lane University Center. Student employees who served as trainers were: Robert Brett, Nathan Hargrove, Andrew Krehbiel, Stephen Kuhn, and Alexander Ramsey. Lane University Center student employees who participated in training were: Chris Callahan, Ashley Clark, Cierra Harman, Ryan Michael, Andrew Miller, Berdia Monk, Adrien Phillips, Alexander Roldan, and Shayna Sandbacnk.
