The Student Activities and Greek Life is a functional area within the Department of Student and Community Involvement.
The Student Activities Program at FSU creates a co-curricular environment that also compliments the academic program through the development of leadership skills and the exposure to and participation in social, cultural, recreational and governance programs.
The mission of the Greek Life is to foster an environment that promotes healthy and safe undergraduate experiences through diversity and student growth. Serve to promote the progression and advancement of fraternity and sorority life through leadership, friendship, community service and scholarship by living in accordance with each organizations creed and principles.
The mission of the Social Marketing Team is to inform the Frostburg State University campus community and create awareness about social activities, events and opportunities sponsored by the Department of Student & Community Involvement while providing leadership and experiential learning opportunities for FSU student employees and interns. And, to furthermore, encourage participation and bring unity among the students.
Activities sponsored by Student Activities and Greek Life include Student Organization development (including advising The University Programming Council, Late@Lane Production Team, Social Marketing Team, Greek Council and the Fraternity and Sorority governing bodies), coordinating Family Weekend, Bobcat Connect, and assisting in Homecoming
