Student Activities

The Office of Student Activities oversees the University Programming Council, Late at Lane, and all student organizations on campus. Charged with creating a fun and engaging environment on campus, the Office of Student Activities works to provide social, cultural, and recreational programs and events.

Greek Life

The Greek Life program is housed in the Office of Student Activities and is founded on the pillars of leadership, friendship, community service, and scholarship. There are 21 active Greek chapters at Frostburg State university including fraternities, sororities, NPHC groups, as well as professional and music organizations.

CES at Frostburg State University provides an annual series of high-caliber programs by performing artists at the top of their field. FSU students and the local community do not have to travel to distant cities to attending outstanding performing arts events. See artists who have performed at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall for a fraction of the price.

Civic Engagement

The Office of Civic Engagement works to provide activities and opportunities to get involved and give back to both the university and local community. Last year our student volunteers provided over 25,000 hours of service to both the university and the community.

Social Marketing Team

The Social Marketing Team informs the Frostburg State University campus community about social activities, events and opportunities sponsored by the Department of Student & Community Involvement through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, FlickrSpotlightOnline and Digital Signage while providing leadership and experiential learning opportunities for FSU student employees and interns.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association at Frostburg State University represents the student body on a host of concerns and issues. They work to develop and administer student self-government policies, provide many services to students, communicate with faculty and the administration and decide how the student activity fees will be spent.

Black Student Alliance

The Black Student Alliance at Frostburg State University is responsible for representing and addressing the needs of the African American student body and to provide programs and services that culturally enrich the campus community.
