Frostburg Grows

FG is a partnership between FSU, Western Maryland Resource Conservation and Development Council, University of Maryland Extension and additional partners. We are a local food production facility using high tunnel greenhouses and a sustainable agriculture training center. We also operate a native tree nursery and a composting site. Our mission is to help build the local food system, create jobs, provide training and support for new and existing growers, grow food sustainably, and help increase food security, water quality and the health of people and environment in Western Maryland.
