Willkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome to Berlin, 1929. It's the eve of the Nazis' rise to power, and the Kit Kat Club is a source of seedy entertainment and pleasure, where the club's emcee instructs you to "leave your troubles outside." It is here that a struggling American writer falls in love with a carefree English cabaret performer named Sally Bowles. The two begin a memorable and uncertain relationship that mirrors the changing world around them. The winner of eight Tony Awards when it debuted on Broadway in 1966 and eight Oscars for the 1972 film version starring Liza Minelli and Joel Grey, "Cabaret" is one of the most celebrated musicals of our time. The score by the acclaimed writing team of John Kander and Fred Ebb includes such popular songs as "Willkommen," "The Money Song," "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" and, of course, "Cabaret."
