There have been at least three film versions of this much-loved story, featuring actresses such as Mary Astor, Katherine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Susan Sarandon and Claire Danes, and now, for the very first time, this wonderful narrative has been brought to life as an exhilarating new musical. Filled with glorious music, dancing and heart, “Little Women” provides a complete theatrical experience and a night filled with laughter, tears and lifting of the spirit. Aspiring high school theatre students take a backstage tour, meet with the director and producer, and sit in on a tech rehearsal. This experience offers insights into breaking into the professional theatre world by providing opportunities to interact with the performers, technical crew, director, and producer; while, at the same time, observing a final dress tech rehearsal performance complete with director’s notes.
